A physiotherapist is a healthcare professional trained in the
prevention or alleviation of movement dysfunction. Movement
dysfunction may be due to pain, disease, accident or injury,
inactivity, problems secondary to aging, or stress.
Physiotherapy is an active partnership between you and your
physiotherapist. We are committed to helping our patients reach
their maximum strength, movement potential and independence. Our
physiotherapists will establish a physical diagnosis, and plan
and implement the treatment program. The treatment program will
be diagnosed to meet your goals, and will include education,
manual therapy, modalities (Low Intensive Laser, Ultrasound,
TENS) and exercise prescriptions.
